Siamak Vaziri is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy.
After graduating from law school, Siamak worked as an associate in a downtown insurance defense firm. He represented clients in matters involving automobile accidents and premises liability defense.
In 2006, Siamak opened Vaziri Law Group. He dedicated and concentrated 100% of his practice towards representing injured people. With a thorough understanding of how to defend cases, he utilizes that skill-set in effectively representing harmed and injured people.
Siamak is a firm believer in the justice system and aggressively pursues every avenue of recovery for his clients. He takes pride in personally reviewing every case the firm handles and is always available for his clients. Siamak lives in Brentwood, California with his wife and three children. He is an avid Laker fan and enjoys playing tennis and golf.
David C. Shay, Partner
David C. Shay is a partner at Vaziri Law Group. Dave has been a lead trial attorney with the Vaziri Law Group since he joined the firm in 2016. During that time, Dave has earned a reputation as an innovative trial attorney and a powerful adversary to corporate wrongdoers. Dave has obtained numerous seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured individuals. Three of Dave’s verdicts have been featured among California’s “Top Verdicts” in only the last three years. Dave is committed to presenting juries with all of the facts, not just those convenient to large and powerful corporate defendants.
Dave is a graduate of the University of Maryland – College Park where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geography. He earned his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School. After graduating law school, Dave moved from the East Coast to Los Angeles where he began working for one of California’s most prestigious litigation boutique law firms. Dave moved on to work for one of the largest product liability litigation firms in the country.
Dave was once a rising star of the defense bar, having honed his skills representing Fortune 500 companies. As a result, Dave is able to look at every case from both perspectives, keenly aware of the weaknesses in any corporation or insurance company’s case. In 2016, Dave joined the firm so that he could help normal Californians like you fight for their rights. Mark Giannamore, Partner
Mark Giannamore is a partner at Vaziri Law Group, A.P.C. Mark is a graduate of University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1985. Mark is licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts in California.
Prior to Joining Vaziri Law Group, Mark worked as an insurance defense attorney for over 25 years at some of the most respected and prestigious firms in Southern California. Mark brings a unique perspective to the Plaintiffs’ bar based on his extensive defense background. Mark is a seasoned trial attorney with over 50 trials and arbitrations.
A percentage of the cases that Mark handles are matters that he is associated with immediately before trial or arbitration. Mark lives in Eagle Rock with his wife Theresa. Mark is a devoted Los Angeles Kings fan and enjoys playing volleyball.
Shawn Elliott, Esq.
After attending U.C. Santa Cruz for two years, Shawn transferred to the University of California at Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with minors in philosophy, sociology, and psychology. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1993. Shawn is licensed to practice in all California state courts, as well as in the federal courts for the northern and central California districts.
Shawn initially worked as a consumer trial lawyer representing clients in various personal injury actions before he commenced a nearly 25-year career centered primarily on the defense of major transportation carriers and their insurers in actions arising from catastrophic and/or fatal accidents. He is a seasoned trial attorney who has served as lead counsel in more than a dozen jury trials, who has participated in hundreds of settlement conferences, arbitrations and mediations, and who is now using his considerable experience and expertise to aid in the prosecution of civil actions on behalf of VLG’s clients.
Shawn lives in the San Fernando Valley where he cares for his mother and the dog which they rescued from a Los Angeles Animal Shelter. He is an avid movie fan and enjoys gardening on his downtime.
Matt Taylor, Esq.
Matt Taylor graduated from the University of California at Irvine, where he majored in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Whittier College, graduating Cum Laude, whereat he was an Editor of the Law Review, and received awards for legal writing, counseling, negotiating, and civil trial advocacy. Matt also studied international and family law in Curacao, the Netherlands Antilles. After law school, Matt accepted an associate attorney position in the Los Angeles office of one of the largest law firms in the United States.
There he spent over 10 years, working his way up from junior associate to partner. His practice areas included premises liability, auto/transportation collisions, products liability, use of force, food-borne illness, construction/job site accident, toxic torts and habitability, homeowners’ association disputes, indemnity and subrogation, inverse condemnation, real estate transactions, business/commercial disputes, medical and veterinarian malpractice, construction defect, defamation, and protection of the First Amendment.
Matt’s skills as a litigator gained him notable peer recognition, as he was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for 5 consecutive years. Matt now focuses his abilities and tenacity on helping those that have been injured through the conduct of others. He is motivated every day by two things:
(1) His drive to win; and (2) His clients appreciate his hard work. Joseph Miller, Esq.
Joe is a graduate of the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2006.
Joe is licensed to practice in all State courts and Federal Courts for the Central District of California. Joe has over eight years of personal injury litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides.
Prior to Joining Vaziri Law Group, Joe worked as an insurance defense attorney for 14 years where he worked on mass tort litigation matters, including asbestos and pharmaceutical class actions. Joe also has extensive experience in personal injury premises liability litigation. Joe enjoys playing music and collecting vinyl records.
Aaron G. Miller graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He went on to attend business school at the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and General Management while also studying abroad at the London School of Economics.
Aaron earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School Los Angeles. He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts in California. Before law school, Aaron worked as a marketing manager for a variety of consumer packaged goods companies, government entities, and non-profits. Once he changed careers to become an attorney, Aaron gained experience during law school as a law clerk for a business litigation firm servicing foreign businesses operating in the U.S. Upon graduating, he worked for many years as an insurance defense attorney.
He represented clients in an assortment of matters including motor vehicle accidents, trip and falls, property disputes, and employment litigation. Rounding out his experience, Aaron has also worked as a family law attorney, addressing custody and support issues. With the Vaziri Law Group, Aaron is able to use this varied experience to assist clients in pursuing their personal injury claims. Aaron is motivated by forming direct relationships with his clients, in order to understand their needs and goals in the litigation process.
Aaron lives in Culver City with his son. He grew up in Washington, DC, and thus remains loyal to its sports teams and maintains an unhealthy interest in politics. After ten-plus years here, however, he considers LA home and thoroughly enjoys everything it offers.
Caryn Sanders, Esq.
Caryn Brottman Sanders is originally from the Chicago area. She graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and Management and then obtained an M.B.A. from DePaul University. Following a career as a Human Resources Executive at a retail gourmet, wine and liquor chain and a power engineering firm, she attended Southwestern University School of Law in the 2 year SCALE program where she earned her Law Degree.
She is licensed in California and Illinois. She has been practicing law in the Los Angeles Area since 1994, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in State and Federal Court in personal injury, business, construction, employment, entertainment, and professional negligence matters. She has served as a volunteer Judge Pro Tem and Mediator/Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts.
In addition to her legal career, she has been active in local bar associations, serving in multiple board positions including as President of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association and President of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the SFVBA Bench Bar Committee. She has also served as a leader of High School Law Posts and as a Girl Scout Leader. Caryn enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and daughter, is a huge Disney fan and a die-hard Chicago Bears fan.
Elizabeth Munro is a trial attorney, licensed in Florida and California. Elizabeth grew up in a tiny town outside of Flint, Michigan where she aspired to be an attorney. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. From there, she migrated down to Florida, where she attended Florida State University College of Law.
Elizabeth began her legal career as managing attorney of a boutique personal injury and bad faith insurance litigation trial firm called Vanguard Attorneys in Tampa, Florida. It was there where she learned her way around the courtroom and successfully tried many cases to verdict.
After practicing in Florida for several years, Elizabeth decided to take her skillset to Los Angeles. Elizabeth handles personal injury matters, including products liability cases, catastrophic injury matters and third-party workers compensation cases. Elizabeth has handled trials and appeals throughout the state of Florida and in California.
Elizabeth resides in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Dan, their dog Leonidas and two cats Jackson and Penelope.

Nena Zunde, Director of Human Resources
Nena Zunde is the Director of Human Resources at Vaziri Law Group, A.P.C. with responsibility for hiring and employee management. With over 15 years of human resources experience, Nena specializes in HR technologies that improve staffing, employee relations, training and development, and compliance. Nena is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned a degree in psychology.
She is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor with over 150 hours of teaching experience. Driven by a desire to ensure smooth and profitable operations for the firm, she takes pride in creating a work environment that is safe, compliant, efficient and fun.
Roman Garcia, Controller
Roman Garcia is currently the Controller at Vaziri Law Group. As a member of the executive team, Roman is responsible for the firm’s full cycle accounting and financials.
Before joining VLG, Roman worked for a 100-million-dollar company as the Accounting Manager. Roman earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University of Los Angeles. In his free time, Roman enjoys playing soccer.
For 20 plus years, Goli has worked across business sectors and online destinations to develop new and innovative business strategies managed through design and execution. Prior to joining Vaziri Law Group as the Director of Marketing and Operations, Goli worked for Donovan/Green, an award-winning consultancy focused on providing branding, marketing communication and information design solutions. For 12 years, she helped form bonds between her clients, their customers and stakeholders. The operating philosophy was built on the passionate commitment to “understanding”- understanding audiences and connecting with them by creating experiences in unique memorable ways.
She has consulted in all aspects of branding and design, interactive marketing communications, social media and advertising. Her formal training in psychology has transformed her career toward affecting change and progress in the development of strategic and sustainable solutions for her clients.
Prior to that, she served as the Director of Operations for Asphalt Media, an OOH Media Company based in New York City. She is the co-founder of two successful media start-ups CO2 Responsible and Outer Places.
Goli graduated with a B.A. in Marketing and received an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is also an active board advisor to Live to Give Foundation, a non-for-profit that serves underprivileged communities in Honduras.
Goli enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and two active boys. She lives by the words of the ancient poet, Rumi: “Forget safety, live where you fear to live. Be notorious. Set your life on fire and seek those who fan your flames.”
